(BOLONEWS) – Karachi : The latest version of the new Integrated Border Management System of Immigration has been launched at Jinnah Airport.
FIA Immigration has successfully activated the latest technology Integrated Border Management System at Jinnah International Airport Karachi and all major international airports of Pakistan.
According to FIA officials, national security has been further strengthened through IBMS and border control capabilities have been enhanced.
Officials say that this system includes passport verification, automatic biometric identification of passport holders using facial recognition system.
While foreign visa verification and FRS-based identity verification of visa holders are also done, guardian clearance, government employee identification, national stop list and instant verification from Interpol database are also included.
